Mononoke

On my previous post...about anime: Ayakashi... I mentioned that I love the second story very much....to my surprise I found out that there was a spin-off of the second story....which titled Mononoke. Mononoke is about a wandering, nameless character known only as the Medicine Seller. The series is made up of 5 individual chapters where the medicine seller encounters, combats and subsequently destroys the mononoke or restless spirits. I watched the whole series and I found the directing of it very artsy and the plots are quite difficult to understand, I had to watched it a few times to get the story straight .......anyway it was a good anime...something different....I downloaded the whole series from youtube.com....as I was unable to find it in isohunt and mininova.

Japanese Horror Story

During this month of Halloween....Animax channel (715) is airing quite a number of spooky animes such as Blood+ , xxx Holic, Hell Girl and many more. Although I'm not an anime fan but the one that I found most interesting is Ayakashi : Samurai Horror Tales. There are three stories in this series, Yotsuya Kaidan,the story of a wife betrayed by her husband who seeks vengeance even in death, Bakeneko,the story of a mysterious cat monster with a vendetta against a certain family and Tenshu Monogatari,the story of forbidden love between a goddess and a human. Both Yotsuya Kaidan and Bakeneko has been aired, these two stories are very sad more than horrifying especially Bakeneko, my favourite. The ending theme song "Haru No Katami" performed by Chitose Hajime, is a lovely and sad song, the lyrics are like a poetry.

Watson Warehouse Sales

I went to Watson Warehouse Sales at SouthCity Plaza today at 2pm, that place was sardine packed...I should have went there earlier ,I bought quite a lot of stuff - about 50 items, guess how much I paid for that? Only RM64.00 for more than 50 items!!!! Can you believe it? Anyway I queued up for 2 hours to pay!!!! But its worth it!!!! Here are some of the stuff :
